Meditation at Monona Terrace
What it is: Free weekly 45-minute guided meditation by Dr. Lisa Rambaldo of Dean Health held at the Monona Terrace on Mondays. The fall session runs through Nov. 28.
Who it’s for: Anyone, from beginner to Buddha, who wants a guided lunch-hour lesson to help improve your mood, decrease stress and boost immune function.

Dean Mental Health/St. Mary’s
What it is: Offering a variety of programs for different needs, Dean Health’s offerings include a Mindfulness group, Cultivating Happiness group, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy classes and more.
Who it’s for: Speak with a Behavioral Health Consultant at Dean Health to determine which course fits your needs and schedule—some programs are geared toward those dealing with stress while others are open to those working through recurrent depression, anxiety and more.

Group Health Cooperative
What it is: Offering classes through their wide selection of Complementary Medicine programs, GHC-SCW offers both mindfulness meditation classes as well as stress reduction programs.
Who it’s for: Open to both GHC-SCW members and the public. Fees apply, thought members receive discounts.

Meriter Health Services
What it is: Meriter’s health psychologists offer expertise in the mind-body connection and in relaxation methods and meditation.
Who it’s for: Patients supported by Meriter should contact the medical psychology department to discuss what options are available for them.

UW Health
What it is: UW Health has integrated mindfulness-based therapies across many medical disciplines, including cardiovascular care, chronic pain care and more while also offering Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction classes and the Mindfulness Training Program.
Who it’s for: The Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction program is a session of classes for those looking to learn how to manage stress and develop greater fulfillment in life. The Mindfulness Training Program is offered to those who meet criteria for treating recurrent diagnosed mental health issues such as anxiety and depression.
