Chef’s Corner: 8 Seasons Grille

They say change is the only constant in life. Thanks to restaurateurs (and brothers) Tom and Nick Baertschy, good food is, too. Tucked away on the cozy corner of Bassett and Main Streets, their 8 Seasons Grille embraces both wholeheartedly, rolling out new menu choices eight times a year. 

It’s an idea born from the goal of using the freshest ingredients available throughout the seasons. And while they draw inspiration from international fare (the duo claims you can always find an ingredient on the menu from every part of the world, including a bounty of locally sourced goods), Chef Nick puts his signature spin on every dish they serve.

From the popular pork sandwich to the avocado and crostini crab salad (pictured here), it’s “American fusion” cuisine that local palates will love and an ode to freshness that can be tasted in every bite.
